In general, international students must have completed secondary education equivalent to the French Baccalaureate and must provide transcripts, a personal statement, and letters of recommendation. Some programs may also require standardized test scores such as the SAT or ACT.

Overall, France offers a great opportunity for international students to experience a unique culture, high-quality education, and beautiful landscapes. Students should carefully research their options and requirements before applying to ensure a smooth and successful study abroad experience.

Eiffel Scholarship Program

France offers a government subsidy scheme for international students to help cover the cost of tuition fees. This scheme is known as the Eiffel Scholarship Program and is awarded to students who show exceptional academic ability and potential.

The Eiffel Scholarship Program covers up to €1,181 per month for living expenses, round-trip travel expenses, and social security coverage. It also covers up to €5,000 for cultural activities and may cover tuition fees up to €10,000 per year.

To be eligible for the Eiffel Scholarship Program, students must be non-French nationals and must be under 30 years of age at the time of application. They must also have an excellent academic record and be accepted into a French institution for a master’s or doctoral program.
