Post Study Work Ireland

Ireland offers a post-study work permit option to international students who have completed their studies at a recognized Irish institution. The Third Level Graduate Programme allows eligible graduates to stay in Ireland for up to 24 months after their graduation to seek employment and work in their field of study.

To be eligible for the program, international students must have completed a degree at a recognized Irish institution, have a valid Irish residence permit, and have not exceeded the maximum time allowed for the program (24 months).

During the 24-month period, graduates are allowed to work for any employer and in any industry, with the exception of self-employment or running their own business. If the graduate finds a job relevant to their field of study, they may apply for a General Employment Permit, which would allow them to continue working in Ireland beyond the 24-month period.
